Nestled
A direct sculpture in alabaster. Dimensions are approximately 5" by 4.5" by 3". This sculpture was completed September 2001.
Through the removal of surface detail the mental centrum is given less ammunition with which to clutter an otherwise excellent sculpture. I find the lack of symbolism gives the heart a chance to listen. So much so that on occasion it almost breaks. Not to worry. In this instance it's not the heart which is breaking rather the shell holding it caged.
