Two & One

Dimensions are approximately 14" by 14" by 10". This sculpture was completed June 2001.

This piece as in process for three years. The original basic shape was started in 1998. It then waited for two years before the second rough shaping.

Final shaping and fine form was a relatively fast process once the scuplture decided to reveal itself.

"I find some pieces can be like that. The sculpture will lie in wait within the stone for years patiently passing the time until my vision clears revealing the proper form. In this case it was a happy accident that I left the piece for three winters and summers. The fine crazing is a beautiful contribution to the overall effect of this sculpture."
